Arkchat: Flutter Business Chat | Shailendra Haldkar

Project overview

Arkchat brings business conversations, tasks and approvals into one mobile workspace. Teams can work with colleagues, clients and vendors without losing the decisions and actions that emerge from everyday messages. The Flutter application provides a shared Android and iOS experience.

My contribution

I worked as Lead Flutter Developer in a team of six. My portfolio focus is the cross-platform mobile experience and its messaging, notification and workflow integrations.

The problem

A business chat application needs more than message delivery. Users need to find the work behind a conversation, understand what needs approval and return to the correct context after opening a notification. Changes must stay understandable across chat lists, threads and task views.

Application design and integrations

Real-time communication: PubNub supports the messaging experience, with one-to-one and group conversations, threads, delivery states and unread activity.
Workflows in context: messages can become tasks, subtasks or approval requests, connecting discussion with visible follow-up.
Notifications and navigation: Firebase Cloud Messaging, Branch and app links bring users back to relevant content.
Commercial integrations: RevenueCat, Apple in-app purchases and Stripe support subscriptions and payments; Airbridge supports attribution.
Shared application state: conversation lists, task dashboards, media and notification badges work together across Android and iOS.

What the application enables

The result is a mobile workspace where users can communicate, track tasks and review approvals without switching between disconnected tools. Media sharing, multilingual communication and AI-assisted workflows broaden the ways a team can collaborate.
